Overview
The Lane Departure Warning System from Intelligent Vehicle Technologies was originally developed as an OEM model for automobile manufacturers. The lane-recognizing image sensor, which is able to recognize the majority of lane markings worldwide was developed and tested using both CCD-type and CMOS-type cameras. Also, they developed their own proprietary ASIC for optimal image processing. This reliable safety mechanism enables the device to work with most of the possible road conditions and situations. The proprietary software was continually updated and revised after incorporation into the system through actual driving tests over a two-year period.

  • Camera auto-calibration function (minimizing the performance deviation due to errors when installing the camera)
  • Automatic shutoff function in zero-visibility conditions (audible or display warnings are also possible)
  • Black Box function in case of accident, freezes last 12 seconds of video cache and adds 8 more seconds of video
