Warranty
LumeWay™ Road Markers come with a seven year the replacement cost for the first 2 years. LumeWay warrantees road marker products to be free from workmanship and materials defects including solar cells, batteries, LEDs and the base. LumeWay will cover 100% of prorate replacement costs for years 3 thru 7. LumeWay does not warranty installation.

Note: The LumeWay road markers have been designed to meet or exceed the typical 7-year asphalt roadway lifecycle, thus the guidelines herein are commensurate with those objectives.
Installation
- Urban roadways: surface mount
- Chip seal urban roadways: 1/4’ surface grind 4.5”x4.5” (12cm x 12cm)
- High speed roadways/interchanges: 3/8 inch (9mm) deep groove; 12 inch (30 cm) from center for each applicable approach
- High Temp Asphalt: 3/8 inch (9mm) deep groove; 12 inch (30 cm) from center for each applicable approach. In extreme temp zones ½” deep trenches may be advisable.
- Sand stone or other soft aggregate location: 3/8 inch (9mm) deep groove; 12 inch (30 cm) from center for each applicable approach. In extreme temp zones ½” deep trenches may be advisable and where aggregate is real soft there are supplementary options – contacts us.
- Snow Zones/Rubber Blade Bits: 1/2 inch (10 mm) deep groove; 16 inch (41 cm) from center for each applicable approach
- Snow Zones/Steel Blade Bits: 7/8 to 1 inch (22 to 25 mm) deep groove; 24 inch (60 cm) from center for each applicable approach
- Designed for use with MarkerBond’s LumeWay-01 adhesive. 2 oz of adhesive applied beneath each marker.

Recommended: All trenches ½ inch deep or greater are to be sloped. For single direction markers the bed of trench could be lengthened to accommodate at least one replacement, however bidirectional applications require removal of marker to be replaced.
