Functions

  • Detects pedestrians, bicycles, roller-blades, horses, snowmobiles etc.
  • Cancels Ped Calls - if pedestrian leaves detection zone prior to
    "Cross" phase.
  • Makes Ped Calls - as an alternative to a "Call-Button".
  • Greatly improves traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
  • Improves Driver and Pedestrian behavior at crosswalks and PUFFIN crossings.
  • Passive activation of in-pavement lights or LED markers.
  • Assess the volume of pedestrians waiting at a pedestrian crossing.
  • The X-FLO Pedestrian/Bicycle Detector can be used in conjunction with a push-button
